About Us
Antarmada was born out of a deeply personal journey—a longing for home. As an immigrant in Canada, I found myself missing the familiar warmth, colors, and energy of India. There was a specific picture that hung in my room back home, an Indian landscape that always brought me comfort and a sense of connection to my roots. It was that memory that inspired me to channel my feelings into something meaningful, and I realized I could use my passion for digital art to share a piece of my culture with the world.
Starting with Indian-inspired artwork, I poured my love for vibrant colors, intricate details, and cultural symbolism into each piece. But as I continued, my curiosity and appreciation for other cultures grew. Mexican art, in particular, spoke to me in a way that felt almost like home. I saw in it the same joyful spirit and vibrancy that I loved in my own culture. This discovery became the start of a journey to explore and celebrate the beautiful diversity of cultures around the world.
With each new piece, I aim to capture not just the visual elements of a place but the stories, emotions, and essence that make each culture unique. From Mexican celebrations filled with color and life to serene Japanese landscapes and the intricate patterns of Middle Eastern art, my work reflects the global tapestry of traditions that I’ve come to admire. My art is my way of honoring each culture I encounter, and as I travel to new places, I find endless inspiration in the people, customs, and artistry I experience firsthand.
Expanding Antarmada to its own website is a natural next step in this journey. I’m excited to create a space where people from all walks of life can find a piece of art that resonates with them, whether it brings back a memory, inspires a new journey, or simply brings beauty into their daily lives.
Thank you for joining me on this colorful, cultural journey around the world. Each piece I create is a celebration of heritage, unity, and the shared human experience, and I am honored to share it with you.
